At the inaugural Manchester City Marathon Sunday November 4, 2007,
Rochester Runner’s own Scott Rowe took his first Marathon win in 2:27:51
and change.
Congratulations Scott!
Also at the race from Rochester Runners were
Dan and Dave Poliquin, Chuck Zerbinopoulos,
Arlon Chaffee and former club member Dawn Gilbert.
Mike Richardson and Jen Johnson were at the race to cheer
for the runners and RR’s Andy Schachat was the race announcer.
Judy Brenner, Sinthy Kounlasa, Wendy Stewart and Don Yeaton
worked as volunteers at the packet pickup at the Expo.
Diane Levesque ran the 1/2 and John Rancourt ran with his
daughter Annette Blake who finished her first marathon in 4:17.
John was 3rd in his age group and heads down to run the
Philadelphia Marathon on Nov. 18th.
