*The Rochester Runners Awards Night and potluck event was held on May 19 at the Community Partners building. This meeting also marked the club's 30th anniversary. The awards recognized members for their running achievements during the past season. Club officers Cliff Parkinson and Paul Lindsay presented the awards as follows. Diane Levesque, most races and grand prix award; Sinthy Kounlasa, Female Runner of the Year and grand prix award; Kathy Paradis, Most Improved Female Runner; President Cliff Parkinson, grand prix award; Dan Poliquin, Male Master Runner of the Year and grand prix award; Bill Buckley, grand prix award; Nathan Huppe, Male Runner of the Year; Walter Shyska, most ER visits and recoveries; Drew Tuttle, Most Improved Male; Leanne Hourihane, Female Master Runner of the Year; and for grand prix standings Dave Poliquin, Brian Geiger, Lori Scott, Kevin Scott and Mary Ulinski.

* Fabulous 5K at Dave Abbett's with barbeque, Tuesday, July 21, 2009

* Fantastic Bike/Run at Diane Casselberry's in Dover with pot luck, Tuesday, August 18, 2009

* The club's monthly meetings take place every third Tuesday at the Community Partners building at 25 Old Dover Road in Rochester. (More Info)
